Just had a look in the Guest book and noticed a post by Dr. Lenaerts and he wrote the following message.

This is a very well done and useful site for CH sufferers. I shall recommend it regularly for my patients (I am a neurologist, headache specialist, in Oklahoma).

Did a Google search on him and found the following.
Dr. Lenaerts obtained his Doctorat in Medecine and then pursued a Neurology residency all at the University of Liege, Belgium. Following this he was Staff Neurologist, Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. He came to the University of Oklahoma and completed Neurology here before joining our faculty as an Assistant Professor in the summer of 2000.
His interests include: Efficacy of Riboflavin (vitamin B2) in migraine prophylaxis; Development of headache and pain specialty clinic.
He is a member of: International Association for the Study of Pain; International Headache Society; American Headache Society.
This may be of use to anyone in that area.

That's my Neuro, Barry. He's the best Neuro I've ever had. He doesn't consider himself too good to listen to a patient like some other doctors do. He is always willing to talk about new discoveries and methods of treating CH. He even asks me to bring in information on the stuff I mention during my appointments or send it via e-mail.

I definitely recommend him for anyone in the OKC area who is not happy with their neuro.

You know this is wonderful. To have neuro's actually taking an interest in this condition and wanting to hear what we have to say.

I commend Dr. Lenaerts for being human enough to reply on this board as us CHer's do appreciate doc's that get involved.

Also again, was it not for DJ, this invaluable information, built up over years on this board, would not have been available to us and the medical profession.

Nice kids. Great story.

Once, after seeing what I believe was a patient at my neuroloogist's office dealing with CH, I gave the doctor my CH story and told him of this place. He once asked me what's the latest idea from here.

I love the little twerp most of the time.

What a great Doctor.. May through his work he can help to educate other doctors..
