Title: Re: Marines Mom Needs Help Post by LadyLuv on May 4th, 2006, 2:07pm What a heartless person... There is no excuse for this.. That lady can't even bathe in the memory of her son in a peaceful manner, because this a$$ hello. I am really confused with the courts saying that they can't force him to pay it.. If it's a court order and he don't follow it it sounds like Contempt of Courts to me. Further more it should be Grand Theft for him cashing a check over $300 in a fraudalent way, and that's not civil, that's criminal. I wounder how many others he has done this to - received money from the family as well as the insurence co... At the same time I'm dissapointed and confused about the the bank... This man name was not on the Young Soldier account, so why would the bank send the money to him in the first place? I think that I would be going after the Bank, because really and truly, they owe the mother the money. If the Bank sent the money to the wrong party, they should still have to pay her and then they can go after him to get their money back? Peace & Blessings Lady Luv |

Title: Re: Marines Mom Needs Help Post by medic1852 on May 4th, 2006, 6:28pm Tim it took less than 30 minutes to get this reply from an EMS website that I hang out at also. Suzi Bernert Posted: 04-May-06 18:35 Delete Edit Mail Profile What a travesty!! I have signed the petition and e-mailed the news people about how the family can file complaints with the state funeral director licensing agency and the Federal Trade Commission. Title: Re: Marines Mom Needs Help Post by catlind on May 5th, 2006, 11:43am Involving the federal trade commission is a good step. Let me talk to Clark and see if the JAG here has any ideas on what can be done. In my mind, he stole from the US Govt - he took payment of the funeral from the DoD and then took payment from the family by means of seizing the bank account. Not 100% of the law, but I'm fairly sure that will constitute defrauding the US Military and that's a federal offense to be handled by the FBI. If I can find out info on how to expose this little rat fuck I'll post it. Cat |

Title: Re: Marines Mom Needs Help Post by catlind on May 5th, 2006, 12:43pm http://www.dodig.mil/ This is the Dept of Defense Inspector General website. Go there and send an email to the IG office to ask what the DoD is doing to correct this situation of one of their own. In addition, everyone contact their congressman and file a complaint - they can then initiate an investigation. Cat |
