HI there!!!!! :)

I havent been able to get to this site lately. I've got some medical problems going on..... and now i'm on an FMLA from work for a while, so I have time, even if it hurts to be on and type....i'm bored.

I've kinda lost track of what the hell's goin on. Until recently, I was on here every single day, at least once a day, and I couldn't keep up... but now I've been away for almost a month, And now I can't possibly catch up. So, What's going on?

I'm supposed to be helping with the convention - but I'm no good for anyone right now... so this is kinda a public apology to Rori and ASB. I WILL do what I can ... when you guys need me....let me know..I'm off for a while, so I have time............but it's just a matter of being ABLE........ but if I can - I will.

So, what's going on here? I have Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), and it is now preventing me from doing anything...... cant work. Meds are killing me, but not taking them is killing me more. I cant move, I cant think. I am injecting this mouse protien into my body every week, along with chemotherapy injections, and pain pills, and steriods....and supposedly, this will help. I dont get it - but whatever. :-/
Either I die from this RA, or I die from the medication... either way, I cant pay my damned bills... and dead is dead, right?

I also want to publicly thank my husband, who puts my socks and shoes on, and helps me brush my teeth and wash and dry my hair, and cooks, and cleans. Without him, I hate to think how I would smell. LOL

To all my CH buddies......... I miss you - I'm sorry I've been out of touch, and I'lll see you all at the convention, even if we cant stay = we'll atleast drive up for the day or whatever. It's not that far.

Tina, it's good to see you post! I'm sorry the RA is getting you down. My dad has it too, and he fights it the best he can. I'm hoping you are as pain free as you can be. Ramon is the greatest guy. :)

Did you carry short term disability insurance by chance? Many employers offer it and it can make a difference in a situation like this. Take good care of yourself, girl. We love ya!

Awe Woobie Woo I missed ya.I am sorry to here your in so much Pain :'( .Check in when ya can but know that as much as we want to hear from you we don't want you overdoing it and making the pain worse if thats possible.Ya got yourself a great hubby and I believe he knows he has a great wifey
Lets see Jonny is still king.Others try to dethrone him and are laughed at.Theres been trolls and the trolls sticks have been sharpened and used.Jokes,very little politics ;;D vibes and prayers needed and sent.one the sadder things for the ladies is lack of eye candy our ladies friday pics have been missing [smiley=nono.gif] [smiley=bigcry.gif] but we are stong and will survive.ummm others can fill you in this is just the fluff news.

I've missed ya, buddy!! :) Sorry to hear that you're having so many problems with the RA... :'(

I just mentioned your name in another post because last Sunday morning, I had my first ever attack of synovitis of wrists, ankles, and one knee and by Monday morning, I couldn't really walk at all and definitely couldn't move my hands. It was scary and one of the most painful things I've ever experienced... My RF came back negative again as did the ANA, lyme, etc - but CRP is 8 times what it should be and sed rate is elevated - so off to a rheumatologist next month.

So, I really feel for you for having been through so much and continuing to have to go through so much...All I went through was a couple bad days and it is getting better... :( I wish there was something less awful that you could take that would make it feel better. I got my life back this time around from steroids, but we know we can't take those all the time... :-/ My aunt has been in methotrexate hell for vascular retinitis, and even though she takes a low dose of it just a couple times a week, it completely wipes her out.

If there's ANYTHING I can do to help you - please don't hesitate to let me know!! I'd fix it for you if I could....but they took my magic wand away when I went to nursing school because apparently, "I'm no doctor" and only they get to practice magic... (yeah right, huh?! lol)

Oh wow sounds like one HELL of a flareup goin on.....HOPEIN it tapers down for ya........I've tested negative for everything but the swelling lumps and bumps are real and proof positive of the pain. I will suddenly have a few 'decent' days and freaks me out like it's all been in my head or sumthin. Makein me CRAZY.....really wierd......then whamo-bamo ! Don't make sense to me cuz I don't understand it and people around me don't have a clue esp when they say 'yeah they get achey when the weather changes or yeah they have a stiff back too'. Ever try the dugesic patch Woobs ? Not sure it'd help but mite be able to level ya out "a bit" ? My friend was on the kemo pills and they made her so freakin tired and sick......she took em 3 times a week and her doc hoped it'd send the RA into remission. Bein sick with all that pain I think would suck WORSE. Miss ya and sorry yer in so much pain........am wishin you the best of relief Pam

I'm just glad ramon isn't in his cycle right now. we cant both be "no good" at the same time.

even if we cannot afford to stay at the convention -- we will be atleast driving up there ..... it's only a couple hours away, and we can do road trips all weekend... i'm not missing this convention....

besides - Donna, WHO will spike Ramon's coke if you're too busy doing ashtray detail?? that's MY job.

I just saw Woobs and bus this weekend. Tina is doing much beter and wants to go back to work but her doctor will not let her :P

We had a great time - we ordered pizza and made a fire & Talked a bunch of BS. ::)
