The food is not the only problem... get them off their butts, away from the xbox and tv, and go outside and get some exercise.

My baby brother was a "chunky" kid and I can't help but look at those little buggers and see them as my little brother, so cute and chunky (and happy BTW)....but you are right, it is a sad sight to see parents let their kids indulge as they do, however, you never know if they have Prader-Willi syndrome where you always feel hungry.... if they don't have that one, I'm sure diabetes is on the menu in the near future... :-[
