Teaching my daughter to drive gave a new meaning to "courage". I found myself saying little prayers each time before I got into the passenger seat. [smiley=laugh.gif]
But my faith paid off...no accidents so far (at least that were her fault), and now she even drives me around once and a while. ;;D

Congrats! You be careful. This will change life for all. I haven't seen my twins since they got their licenses last August. But, oh my the gas and insurance bills.;;D

Fortuanately for us, they have been ticket and accident free so far. ALL of their friends have had tickets, accidents and even 4 traffic accident related fatalaties in their school.

My son just got his license two weeks ago. He adopted my wifes car, and since my wife won't drive the car I got for him (standard trans, so he 'can't' drive it) she takes mine and I get to drive the Saturn. If anyone saw the Incredibles, you know what I look like driving this car.
One good note, I expected the insurance to rise by close to $3000 and it actually only went up $800.

My son got his temps last wed. and our insurance won't go up until he actually gets his liscence. Which is at least another 6 months down the road so... He will be 18 by then and he can pay his own insuance.
