It APRIL...., still 150+ games to go....Beltran is hurt, Lo Duca can never play a full season without being injured (he was on MY team last year), and Pedro will get beaned in the head (finally) from an opposing pitcher looking to retaliate for all the the people he's hit (he ain't in the AL anymore....), and end up in the DL for a month or two.

Mets winning the world series? I wouldn't bet on it ;;D

The first time he tries that in St. Louis, the headlines in St.L will read, "LaRussa bites through Pedro's achilles during brawl on mound."
NY headline will be "LaRussa takes bite out of Mets chances. Tom Seaver inked to fill roster spot"
