For anyone who hasn't been to the archives, DJ completely pulled the board because of this kind of bullshit.

I suspect he's pretty close to doing the same again. If you don't want this board to go away for a long while, just ignore those that feed off promoting negative energy.

I can handle the bullshit cuz I am used to it.......well,knowin so many people and bein around large groups alot you tend to run into alot of troublemakers. You opened a thread that fits directly into something I wanted to do and say.
I want to apologize to EVERYONE, forgetting who was right or wong, for any arguements or offenses I have personally engaged with ANY of our family here.
I ask for your forgiveness and thank you if you can accept it. I can't feel like I will progress in health without seeking an inner peace by letting go of things that frustrated me and my responses.
Again, I'm not going to use excuses to decide if I was right or wrong, I have no excuse from anything I've ever said that hurts another family member.
I used to write only what I thought could be inspiration to all, but on occasion am guilty of getting involved and adding my opinion in anger where I should have thought more about solutions to peace.
I can't post much anymore due to health, but I'd like to make a pledge to my family and hope others follow.
I will not engage in any posts that are detrementral to the real value of this site, but instead try to support and inspire like we did back when this board first started.
We ARE a family, we NEED each other and we need to treat this site always with this in mind. Where else can we find these important things that we share to help us cope and learn?
I love ya all for being here and apoligize for my part in any way I've ever said or done anything to take away from our family values.
I'm here today and still fighting because of all of you and this site ... only appreciation from here on out from this family member!

I think somehow we got on a troll fan site. You see, trolls actively *look* for places like ours. Places where people are hurting, struggling to cope with life. We make easy targets for trolling. We make it easy for the trolls by responding incessantly to their crap. We refuse to simply swallow the offensive remarks and move on... no, we have to respond. You see, this is what they search the net for, suckers like us.

Let's all grow up and STOP responding and reacting to the trolls. That way, they go away and things return to normal.

Do you know that they view this as a sport? They get points for sending people into furious responses. They try to fit in by learning the lingo, acting like they are 'one of us', then BOOM, they let the hammer down with something that simply compels people to post angry responses. Don't fall for it. It makes you look stupid and it gives them fuel to keep up the disruption.

Thanks DJ for not tearing the whole thing down. It would only make a nice virtual trophy for these trolls.
We would all be the losers and they would be the winners.

I repeat, no matter how hard it seems, resist the temptation to post a response to a troll. Even if you must, wait a day and watch it blow over before you respond.

Ya know....I never really KNEW this sorta thing was a sport with startin shit and turnin people against each other after you sort of 'got to know them' and silently moved in for a kill. I didn't know people actually moved from web site to web site doin that. It's kinda like invitein and takein brand new friends ya just met at the sleeze bar the nite before to your family's for a holday dinner. I've gotten leary the past couple of years meetin new people when out, never used to worry bout that and trusted NICE or NEW people. I have had people come up to us and sit down to talk and seem so cool......but the longer the conversation went the wierder they got. We've had to leave before to get rid of em....or start sum shit. Thanks DJ - for this and all you've done for us by creating this site for us.

We share the suffering of what is considered to be one of the most painful conditions experienced by man (or woman...yes W DO GCH LOL), whether sufferer or supporter - the beast affects each and every one of us here.

And for me that's enough. We're family. We need to come together in a community of support, friendship, fun, education, etc... That's the foundation here that can never be crushed by any troll.

Deej - thank you for posting this and redirecting us to focusing on the REAL reason we're here. We are united through our experience with cluster headaches; We are a family. We need to leave the BS behind and get back to doing what we do best.

Over and Out are never used together. Over is used at the end of a transmission via radio, where you expect a reply from whomever you are conversing with. Out, is used at the end of a transmission to signal that there is no further communication expected or forthcoming. Over and out is stupid redundancy, started by hollywood idiots.

Thanks DJ...I stayed away from the general area for years because of the crap I found here. My PF time is too precious to waste reading the kind of venom that has lately been regular fare here.
You, my friend, are awesome for offering this site, maintaining it, and for stepping up when it was needed.
And you 5 trolls, you do know who you are-and you should be mortified that the effect of your behavior may have pushed someone over the edge closer to suicide. Losing hope or losing a way to vent frustration is very negative.
People come here hurting. You 5 don't owe me, or any other sufferer anything except your absence from this site.

I agree DJ, it's one of the reasons i almost never post anymore.

I'm a member for almost 2 years now, the first year i was pretty active, the last one i'm very unactive because of that chit. i've seen numerous people come and leave because of it.

Anyway, this site has been a life saver for many, Thanks a million times for that.

Put a couple of thousend people together and you'll have trouble, guaranteed.

You and this board are more important! For everyone of them there's hundreds (if not thousands) who have gained knowledge and some control of our mutual enemy . . . . not to mention the many who are to come.

I have no idea of what has transpired to piss you off . . . . I don't post on the general board much . . . . not because I don't like yer' company, but because I'm somewhat limited in the ammount of time I'm able to spend at the computer . . . . so I mostly hang out on the "Getting to Know You" board and try and welcome the newbies (and push 02). The welcomes I got when I came here meant SO much to me . . . and I'm sure most of you felt the same. Do you remember the first time you found out you were not alone? I do.
