Ok Mel,
Last week you posted a comment about how people think about your weight.

Here is what I caught myself doing.
We have been having a lot of rain here. I walk to work, so I take an umbrella. Some of the local trash kids (don't get me started on THEM) were making fun of it a few weeks back.

Now I find myself justifying myself, by thinking, "there is no reason for me to be wet when I posess the means to stay dry.."

I guess it doesn't matter what it is, sometimes you find yourself in a position to worry what people think.. :-/

Thank goodness we have the choice for it to be a fleeting thought, or something we can carry with us for life.

I'm glad that day was just "one of those days" for me, and I've moved on. There's always a next time, but I'm not gonna let it eat at me.

But yeah, you're right. We are a human race, and even though we don't want to care what others think, those "others" are important to us. Because we DO care.
