Thanks gang.  Double hernia, Tuesday @ 10:00am.  DJ got the name "zipperhead" from his op so fire away!

Shouldn't be a big deal but is 2-3 hours of general anestesia.

Man, I'm not looking forward to that first crap!

Hiatal or otherwise?  ;)  I've seen 4 types of hernias since working in neonatal and let's just say that some look more uncomfortable than others!

And it seems most doctors are democrats....something to do with the way republicans don't value health care reform much turns most of us in the medical profession into democrats. ;)

That may be true. Perhaps it's also one area where Republican drug warriors are the busybodies. Their Puritan wing likes to arrest doctors for prescribing pills.

Yes, he did, and when I saw him at Stanford hospital, the scar looked exactly like a zipper!
