Whattya mean??  It's a big freakin gun and my arms are short!! LOL!!

Carol, it was my brother-in-laws, he's a big dude.  I did shoot my 7 yr old nephews 410 and that one I liked. ;;D  Only thing is, I had problems getting the barrel to close after loading, so the damn shell kept springing back at me. [smiley=laugh.gif]  (we were shooting clays BTW)

I don't own a gun myself, but will be buying my first one this year.  Not a shotgun or rifle, but a .38. :)

Ya know, I got kicked by a horse when I was little, looks a lot similar! You go Mel, I have always wanted to try it out myself, must be empowering, I would think! :)

Ice the boo boo and treat with a glass of wine ;;D

Dammit Andrea, you need to like, come and stay with me for a week.  We'd have so much fun!!!!  We'd have a few beers, shoot a few rounds and then argue about politics and religion with my brother-in-law till 4am. [smiley=laugh.gif]  Ok, scratch that last part. ;;D

No seriously!  We are gonna have to plan SOMETHING someday but we'll make it a big one!! ;)  (btw, catch ya tomorrow on our continuing email saga, hehe)

Well, I'm hittin the hay for now.  BTW, I was 2 for 2 on the clays yesterday. ;;D

Pretty good on hitting the clays yesterday but now how do they toss them bales in the air so you can hit them?

damn that smarts....and it's only going to get prettier.  take it easy and take a long hot soak.  You'll probably want some muscle cream for the soreness (mind is so tired I can't remember any brand names.)  Good shooting.

that looks very painful.  I learned out of fear to hold my rifle tight to the shoulder and have lots of padding.  I was terrified of my first couple of shots.  Then I settled down and now am a better shot than my husband and boys.  I am glad you enjoyed yourself!!

That can tickle a bit. http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/hunter.gif

Keeping the revinooers at bay?

Mom used a .410. She loved it.
