this is the 9yr old Light of my life, my granddaughter Mika. Unfortunatly she lives in Houston :(

she yust sent me a small carved budda. she says if i hold him up to my head it might help with the pain. so guess what i am doing while i type with one hand!!.......tim

Aww - you must really miss her.  We're very fortunate - we have 9 grandkids and they all pretty much live within easy driving distance.

Here's hoping her budha works for you.

How sweet.  Looks like a real cutie.  Bet she has grandpa twisted right around her little finger...and knows it.  8)

She's a beauty, Tim!

Kids have so much faith, my son, also 9, believes his kiss on my eye have magical powers of healing.  When I get hit he will come and kiss my closed teary eye and say: "Mom it will be over soon"

His faith and compassion is magical in my eye. :)

LOL, Jas.  Here recently, my granddaughter does that.  She'll kiss my forehead above my eye and say, "All better PawPaw"  Even through the pain it just melts my heart.
