Title: Re: Finished it Post by burnt-toast on Mar 15th, 2006, 4:07pm It looks good/links all seem to work - my suggestions... Random rotation of pictures on home page Mute/increase transparency of backgrounds - to me they seem to overshadow the content. Copy of Adobe Photoshop CS or higher - or some other good software to sharpen photos prior to publication on the site. Tom |

Title: Re: Finished it Post by Opus on Mar 15th, 2006, 6:36pm Lance, looks good, works well in firefox, not Java dependant :-) The first page has a few errors. (http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=www.northernstarphotography.com%2Findex.htm) I didn't check the rest. I realize that fixing errors can break a site in IE. Opus/Paul |

On the groom's page, I'd suggest putting a link to Nani's "I'm feeling malicious" thread and a 50% off coupon for any future divorce proceeding photos. :o |

Title: Re: Finished it Post by Dragnlance on Mar 16th, 2006, 9:28am Thank you all for your feedback. I am now in the process of correcting some of those things mentioned. You will note the first page now has a different background, and the Wedding page has been toned down. Some items cannot be addressed. Larger pictures are not an option, as most people in this area are on dial up. (remember the city of Denver has more people than the whole state of Montana, so lots of wide open space, unless you are in one of the larger towns, broadband is not even available, short of satilite) Since each pic has been reduced from (in some cases) up to 10 megs in size, down to 80k each, and there are 8 pics on most pages, it takes a while for dial up customers to see. Imagin how long it would take on dial up, if all eight pictures (per page) were just 4 megs in size. Just the pics would be 32 megs. 3 days later, if they didnt get bumped off, they might get to see them. :-/ Keep the feed back coming, however, because that is how one learns! Thank you everyone!
