Title: Re: The Sopranos Post by imnotbub on Mar 13th, 2006, 9:57am Who watched it? My son thinks it's possible that the one who got shot (incase you didn't see it yet, I'm not giving it away) could actually die. I dissagree. Comments? |

Title: Re: The Sopranos Post by Margi on Mar 13th, 2006, 10:03am naw, he won't die - he had dialled 911 before he passed out so they've got his address now and will mobilize an ambulance. He's shot on the left side, so hopefully it didn't hit his liver. Unbelievable though!! It happened SO fast and so unexpectedly.....Junior's really losing it!! totally addicted to The Sopranos! |

Title: Re: The Sopranos Post by Charlie on Mar 13th, 2006, 11:36am Junior really went around the bend.... :o Damn. I love Junior too. Hope they get him some good medication. He cracks me up. Bobby finally found a way to get away from the wife, it seems. Hilarious. Anyone else a fan of Sil? I love this guy! Title: Re: The Sopranos Post by Margi on Mar 13th, 2006, 11:43am Looks like Tony's has too, Don - man, he's sure packed on the pounds! I used to think he was pretty sexy but...he needs to have a salad or something now!! And, Charlie - can ya blame Bobby for needing to get away from Janice? Yikes. She's almost as irritating as her mother was!! Looks like Uncle Junior thought P-u-ssy Malenga (or whatever his name was) has come back to try to stalk him. And that he stole the 40 grand from the back yard. Poor Junior - time for the funny farm for him! |

Love his music, too! Yeah, Sil is cool both on screen and on stage. TomM Edit to add: And I found out only a month ago that Sil's wife on the show is wife in real life. She looks sooo different on TV. I thought she was a red head... |

Title: Re: The Sopranos Post by nani on Mar 13th, 2006, 12:10pm Junior needs the nursing home. I sent my Mom after she started chasing people around my house with scissors. :o I kinda lost interest after all this time. :-/ Oh, he'll live. Too much unfinished "business" to so. |

Title: Re: The Sopranos Post by TomM on Mar 13th, 2006, 12:16pm OK--I'm a Back to our original programming...Eugene [the guy who hung himslef] and his wife talked very openly. Anyone notice how wierd that was. No other wife has ever admitted to knowing anything like she did. |

Title: Re: The Sopranos Post by Charlie on Mar 13th, 2006, 12:18pm You mean the guy who plays Sil is a musician? Didn't have a clue. The thing is that I've met one or two guys that act just like him when I lived in Utica, NY. Classics Forgot about the treasure hunt. Scary digging around in the Soprano families' back yards. You never know when a relative will rise to the surface. Glad the FBI is having a few problems flipping da family this year. They get on my nerves. Charlie |

Title: Re: The Sopranos Post by nani on Mar 13th, 2006, 12:32pm He's little Stevie Van Zandt from the E Street (Bruce Springteen's) Band. David Chase supposedly wrote the part of Sil for him. I guess he did his great Michael Corleone impression for him and Chase was inspired. In the opening episode, Sil does the "I try to get out...they keep pullin' me back in." line. |

Title: Re: The Sopranos Post by Margi on Mar 13th, 2006, 12:44pm Yeah, Eugene's wife IS pretty mouthy isn't she? I be she goes to Florida NOW, but I bet it won't be quietly. She better be careful though - should could end up like Adriana if she tries to take hubby's death out on Tony. Weird that Adriana was in the opening dream of Carmella's...I mean, how stupid IS Carmella? How can she NOT know what happened to her? |

She knows. Carmella knows a lot more than she says. BTW--me and da spousal unit saw her in a broadway show in NYC about a year ago called Frankie and Johnny. Here is the review http://www.theatermania.com/content/news.cfm/story/2454 The fist 10 minutes both Edie Falco and Stanley Tucci are compeltely nude. Back our programming...Carmella is doing what she needs to get what she wants. It's all give and take, baby. TomM |

I hope it's not a plasma. I'd hate to see a nice plasma have Midget Porno burned into it. ;;D They sell all the seasons on DVD @ any membership warehouse I.E. BJ's, CostCo, Sam's. Each year I buy the previous season and watch it in sequence to catch up before the new season starts. |

It really is, Jonny - you'll be hooked before you know it. We only started watching it last year and I think it was re-runs of the third to fifth seasons that were on every night at 9 p.m. We found ourselves making time to sit down and watch. Then, when that ended we rented Seasons 1, 2 to figure out the beginnings. Then we rented 3 and 4 all over again. It's the kind of show you can watch twice and catch things you missed the first time. I think season 5 is now out on DVD too. I guaran-damn-tee ya, you'd like it. Plus, there's lots of boobies scenes from the Bada Bing. Naked ones. ;) You can also catch up on their website with the different episode guides here: http://www.hbo.com/sopranos/episode/ - but you really have to see it to fully appreciate it. I think my favourite episode was "Toodle-Fucking-Ooo" if, for nothing more than the title! (although it was pretty funny, Dr. Melfi's response in that one.) |
