I seem to be in the middle of a string of unusually long hits even for me and I am atypical to begin with.

But my question..........when I wake up in the morning or noon or whenever that may happen to be I find that I have had a slight bloody nose on the same side as the headaches.

In 30 years I have never had a bloody nose with CH.

In 30 years of CH I haven't had one either. Were you banging your head against the wall face-forward?

edited to add: Were you using lots of O2 during those long hits and breathing through your nose? It could have dried out your nasal passages. Try breathing the O2 through your mouth.

I've had that happen a few times. More than 5 would be my guess. When I'm at the peak of my cycles, I get 4-5 per night, and the bloody nose has come during the last hit of the night.

Also maybe applying to much pressure poss damage to sinisus or nasal passage?

Only ask cause I did that a few times.

I have never gotten a bloody nose either.

I've had puh-lenty of post-CH bloody noses....

The only time I have had a problem with the bloody nose is with 02 or being dehydrated.. Water, Water ..bubbler for the 02 breathe through the mouth. Drink lots of water ..did I mention that.

Thanks all, In light of the mixed review I won't start freakin out just yet!!

and BB I am usually a very good shot with my ball-peen hammer, but who knows what I do after I have passed out. Linda says I jump around like a madman and when I wake up my hair is looking like one of the pics SandyC posted .

Sometimes I get the one sided nasal drip but it is a bloody nasal drip. Always when I'm awake, though.
