Title: There is no Place like Home! Post by LadyElaine on Mar 7th, 2006, 7:10am Please don't think that people who don't post any more or that don't post a lot any more, don't care. They DO CARE! I know some leave cause they are mad or have hurt feeling, but I think that number is very few. I can't talk for everyone that has left but I can for the people I know that left and why. A lot of people have health issues that they don't even tell us about, or they only tell a few. They have to take control of their own health problems, or maybe they have someone ill at home they have to take care of. Some times life changes things as it has for me, where I can't get here like I want to. Belive me we have not forgotten this place or the people here. I don't think there is a day one in my life that I miss thinking about this place and the people here. I am sure the others are the same way. I know a lot of people ask me why I don't post as much and whats wrong? The only thing wrong is there is just not always enough time. Please don't get mad if we miss a post and did not say Happy Birthday, or post we are sending vibes. You people are in our thoughts and prayers everyday. There is a bond here and a concern and friendship that will live in our hearts forever. This place is HOME for us. Sometimes we have to travel away . We are always glad to be back home, there is just no place like home. Never will be! |

Title: Re: There is no Place like Home! Post by Dragnlance on Mar 7th, 2006, 9:08am Elaine, If anyone got mad at you because life happens, I will apologize for them. If anyone had their feelings hurt, for what ever reason, again, I will apologize. We are all such different people, from differnt walks of life, with only pain binding us together. Clashes are bound to happen, much like brothers or sisters fighting. I for one welcome anyone here that is here for the right reasons. Trolls are not welcome. So, let me brush off the welcome mat, and give you a hug. Welcome home!! Lance |

Title: Re: There is no Place like Home! Post by LadyElaine on Mar 7th, 2006, 2:23pm Thats just it I never left I just been busy as hell. Here is how my days go. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday- Get up at 4:30 am with Buddy and deveny. Have coffee fix them breakfast. They leave here around 6 or 6:30 ! I clean up the house, take dises out of dish washer, start the cloths. sweep the kitchen, den and bathroom floors. Then I mop. Then I sit at the computer check my email, then I come here check the board. Then I go to my book swaping site check to see if I have any books to send out. Then its time for JD to get up. So I get his breakfest and he and I sit and eat and talk about what we will do in home school. Then we get dressed and start school. That last from 9 or 10 am till 2 or 3 pm depending on what we are doing. We always stop at 12 and have lunch. At the end of school we have a snack. The JD has free time to do as he wants to, play outside or go watch TV or just what ever. Then I have to iron the cloths and put them up. Yes washing cloths is every day YUCK. Then its time for Dinner. I fix dinner. Then it is time for Buddy and Deveny to come home. After dinner Deveny cleans up . Buddy and I get a few minutes on the porch to talk or what ever ::) Then its around 8 time for Buddy Deveny and JD to take a bath. While they do that I put together what I am going to teach JD the next day. Then I get the bathroom and take my bath. Then its time for bed. Wenesdays I go to my Moms take her grocery shopping. I don't get home till around 4 and its time for dinner ! Saturday and Sunday. Saturday is our grocery day. That takes just about all day. By the time we get home unload the groceries and eat dinner . well its time for bed. Now on week ends we sleep till 7 thats nice. Then on Sundays Deveny and I take JD to church. Then we come home make Lunch and eat then we do what ever needs to be done in or around the house. Buddy does the outside wook ! When we are done its time for dinner and bed. Unless it is a school holiday I don't get to come here and post. I find time to read and I say I will post tonight surely I will fine time. Now its time for Atlanta Nascar, so its camping at the race. Today I had time because JD is sick he has a ear infections. I have had a lot of people ask me whats wrong your not posting. The only thing wrong is I just can't get here like I use to and miss everyone. Judy stopping by made me homesick. I wish I had the time I use to so I could email everyone or post to each of you. I was just trying to make a point that when people don't post or you don't hear from them, its not always because someone is mad. Some times they want to be here but it is just not possiable. |

Title: Re: There is no Place like Home! Post by sandie99 on Mar 8th, 2006, 3:20am Elaine, I'm always happy to see your posts and I'm glad to see you here. :) This is family and I don't know about you, but when I think of my other two families, I see some family members more often than the others, but I miss them all the same when I haven't seen them in a while. And each time I meet them again, it's so much fun to see them again. :) The same applies in here. :) I think that it doesn't matter how often we come to visit here and post, but what this place and the people and the posts mean to us. I'm not here every day (it might seem so, though ;)) but you all are in my prayers and thoughts each day. I wish all the best to all the folks at here and their families. When I wake up, I hope that the other clusterheads are about to have a PF day, too. :) Best wishes & PFdays, Sanna :) P.S. Lots of vibes to JD. I had lots of ear infections as a kid... Title: Re: There is no Place like Home! Post by LadyElaine on Mar 9th, 2006, 10:11am LOL Nani, I wish I could say my home is spotless, but its not. I am bad about just cleaning what I see. I pulled the door back in the bed room the other day and there was dust so thick I could write my name in it. Thank God for yankey candals, I can light them and the house smells good and people think its clean. Bonnie and Cathy I miss you both so much! Less talk about the race girls, This is what happens every year. The race means WORK! Saturday the Camper had to be open and aired out. Then I had to take the curtains down, wash and iron them. Then I had to make sure everything was clean inside. Then I closed it down alone yeasterday because its going to rain. Now This coming Saturday we have to take it to the Race track and set it up. Sunday I will pack up everything we need for the race that is not eatable. Then Thursday I will have to cook up chile, and gumbo. Then go to the race tract that night. Put everything in the camper , Then camp there. Friday morning I get up cook for a dozen people. Then clean up wile everyone heads to the track. While they are at the track I will watch one of the dogs that goes. Plus I will feed any of the teenages that go. Then have dinner ready when everyone gets back. Then I clean up and make sure everyone is ok. Then my job is watch Buddy to make sure he doesn't get to drunk LOL. That the way it will go all week end. Then Monday we break down the camper! Then we come home and we unload the truck. Then I put up all the stuff and wash cloths and on and on. That is what the race is to me MORE WORK, BUT I do it because I love Buddy! |

Title: Re: There is no Place like Home! Post by ABarham on Mar 9th, 2006, 12:04pm After having to keep my house "que tip" clean, because it is on the market, I have come to the conclusion that a clean house is highly over rated. clean enough to keep out the bugs is important. But I have to say, I'll be sooo happy when we sell this house and I can start living like someone actually lives in the house. |
