Title: Is this happening to anyone else? Post by nani on Mar 5th, 2006, 11:20am Only when I'm logged in, only on this site: First, the Windows Security Alert comes up. If I click for details it says the PayPal security certificate is either expired or invalid. Then it asks if I want to install the new secuirty certificate. There's a link to Verisign (or something like that). I'm such a tech-tard, I really can't explain it very well, LOL. The pop up tends to appear when I click on the more secure stuff here. Like a profile. I ran a Norton scan and a Spy sweep, nothing comes up. This is the link to the verisign site: https://www.verisign.com/repository/rpa.html PS...I used paypal once, last year and haven't used it since. :-/ |

For some obscure reason - this struck me as funny! However, Nani, he could be right. I delete my cookies pretty regularly. Carol |

Title: Re: Is this happening to anyone else? Post by Dragnlance on Mar 5th, 2006, 12:17pm Nani, you have spyware on your system. Run a spyware scan. If you don't have an antispyware tool, go to www.download.com and check out the "Spyware Center". As a computer tech, I see stuff like this every day. Lance |
