Title: I'm convinced..... Post by Redd715 on Mar 4th, 2006, 9:23am Jody is also a Clusterhead. He got hit pretty hard last night....found him leaning over the counter in the kitchen with ice on his eye, his legs shaking and irratic breathing. He's paranoid of needles, but I broke out some of my Trex stash and popped him with 2 mg, and just as I predicted within 10 minutes it was over. I hate to know there is another of us in the world, but at least we found each other and I can help him get in to see Pam, (my HA specialist) and get him properly DX. He's had these since he was a kid, and they always said it was allergy and sinus related....go figure. Time to order more seeds I think.... ;) |

Title: Re: I'm convinced..... Post by cootie on Mar 4th, 2006, 12:14pm Ya know what.....now that I think of it Brad has NEVER had one aborted fast......he always had to take a dam pill and wait it out........sum only lasted a half hour to an hour and taper'd down slowly if he got to it quick enuff but he's never GOT RID OF ONE FAST ever. But for him a half hour to an hour beat 2 to three hours of agony. But when he gets hit he is usually a "done deal" for the rest of the day or nite or half the day if he didn't have to suffer long. I never want to go back to those days.......ever. He has trex shots now but has not went back into cycle 'thank all that's good'...........not expirienced pop and go effect Pam Did you meet Jody out sumwhere Red......I'm sorry but I'm just not up on who's who and from where or why. Bet he thinks of you has his 'angel' bein able to help him like that. Did he know what they were before he met you ? Sorry for all the questions. I'm apparently in a nosey mood. Edit: spellin sucks and brain keeps farting on leavein words out................... :P |

And Pegg, god, just what you sad about irratic breathing and bent over the sink..........god, it made my heart skip a beat. Boy, we all know that routine. Im glad Jody found you and has learned so much about them now. Has he talked about being hit with bastard headaches in the past? PF wishes to both of yous BMonee |

Title: Re: I'm convinced..... Post by Dragnlance on Mar 4th, 2006, 2:51pm Jody seems to be a good man. We already know your great qualities. Sorry the two of you have to suffer, and the thought of two monsters raging at the same time in one house makes my legs weak. You two take care of each other, and you will get by famously. Lance |

Title: Re: I'm convinced..... Post by Redd715 on Mar 4th, 2006, 6:40pm Helen, Yes the Ex hubby is also a CLusterhead, but he never had a cycle till a few years after we divorced. He's had two cycles so far, and said that he missed this past years cycle, they come about every 2 years for him, and last only about two weeks. He only told me about them when I got Dx two years ago, and he did appologize for all the times he called me a whimp when he had to rush me to the ER. Said he thought about that when he took his first trip in. Jody has had these, by his recall, ever since he was a kid. Chronic go figure. Least one attack every other day. After the shot last night he says no twitchy eye and no pressure and no deep ear pressure, but the top of his head all over feels like it's been hacked off. He is terrific...can't wait for everyone to meet him in Milwaukee if he can get the time off work. |

Title: Re: I'm convinced..... Post by Jasmyn on Mar 5th, 2006, 7:24am Peg I'm sorry to hear Jody has CH in the end but like all said, he has the best supporter in you and because he has it himself, you have a great supporter. Sometimes in life things just seem to turn out in a certain way for a purpose. ;) |

Jody (Jerry is his given name, Jody is a family nic name) both had ad's on a singles site, just so happens we lived in the same town. Not sure about the "angel" thing...but he was in awe of how fast a hit can be aborted. He'd never heard of CH before I had him come here and read up and even though I'd suggested by his symptoms and behavior for weeks that he could be a CH'er he was still convinved it was nothing more than sinus issues. We had a talk last night, and he said that he is going to have to rethink everything he's ever thought about his HA's. I agreed with him, and explained that I did too when I got the correct DX. We didn't get into the specifics besides some of the facts of the Hypothallathingy, and the fact that he's had repeated head trauma, and that CH'ers have a better than average statistic of having had head trauma, and the fact that the only thing one can predict with this disease is that it is totally unpredictable in the end. Just when you think you got a handle on it, the beast decides to change the rules. |
