I've always wanted to help people. Some way. To make a small difference in the world.

Let's face it, I'll never be a president. I'm not that interested in taking part in politics. I just vote.

I've never been keen on beauty pagents. I believe more in beauty on the inside.

I don't have the voice to be a singer, although I have written lots of lyrics in my time.

I don't have yet the words to write a memorable novel... Maybe someday I will.

But until that day comes, I'll do whatever I can, right here, in my corner of the world.

Sanna, you know what?

You are making a great difference in my world. Every morning when I log on, I see you here. You are nearly on my time line and it is good to know someone like you are here.

I enjoy reading your posts, I know then, however far I am at the Southern end of the globe, you are there at the opposite end saying good morning.

It is not about what title we can put behind our names but the light we bring to another persons eyes.

Sanna, thanks for your warm thoughts. Unless one lives in a cave, I don't think there is such a thing as a small life. Every life is large and can make a difference in the world, even with a small act of kindness to a family member, a neighbor, a stranger. It has ways of spreading out which we never know about. Just the other day, I was lifted out of cranky mood just from a stranger smiling at me at the market. So continue to do whatever you're doing...it matters.

Both of my parents thought they had small and unexciting lives. Both of them always gave from the heart. Whether it was money (to us kids!) Advice or just being there for folks who were down and needed a word of encouragement... they were always there. I think your life should be measured by how many people you touch...and in my book... you are way up there in the top!Thanks for the wonderful moment of reflection! :-*

Sanna, you are one of my favorite people on here! You are always there to help & contribute, you rarely complain and you have a wicked sense of humor. ;)

I am glad you are here on this earth, even if it is in your corner.
