Turmeric, green tea, N-acetylcysteine, vitamin E, and scutellaria.

I've been digging on this for a while - I put up some notes:

Three things that have controlled human population over time: War, Disease, and Famine.  So we have the war, the disease is coming, and with all the jobs going overseas or to Mexico we will soon have famine.  What an exciting time we live in  :-/.

Simple:

Don't go nuts. Use your head.

My relatives survived the WWI era flu. Not everyone gets sick; not everyone dies. Don't hide out in front of your screen....well..things could be worse.

Think I'll send for my Boji Stones.

What do I do?

I am getting really pissed at the fucking media with their cataclysm mongering.    >:(

Half the time off the TV news is devoted to scare stories about the bird flu and the same theme is beaten to death in endless discussions in the evening prime time.

Of course, the news papers take the same line. Yesterday's main head line was "Is Kitty Still Allowed On The Sofa?"
That all because one cat died a thousand miles away from eating an infected sea bird.

But all this hysteria is welcome to out minister of traffic, Moritz Leuenberger. To slow down the spreading of the bird flu he will probably soon reduce the speed limit on the motorways, a measure that is a cure all for everything bad (in his opinion).

It is medical  proof that even a bird that is infected will not present a problem, once it is cooked.

True, but a person can come in contact with the virus by handling raw poultry, and cross-contamination of surfaces can spread it to others in the household.  The virus is quite rare in bird flocks in the west, but it makes sense to cull infected birds.  (For now, I'm still eating poultry.)

Try a 20 ga or 12 ga with #5 shot. If you hit em solid they won't run off on ya. :)

That reminds me of when I was young and went Pheasant hunting with some friends...My friend had shot at one and missed and was feeling down...Well my friend's dad shot one and looked at us and said "that boys is how it is done"...About that time the Pheasant jumped up and took off running...my friend was quicker than me and he got off the shot and killed his dads bird!
