Title: Re: :( Depression sux Post by TomM on Feb 28th, 2006, 10:13am Hey Dylan. I hear ya, buddy. I lost my dad shortly after your grandmother and have been in a funk ever since. It's comes and goes and that is normal. The best thing you can do is talk about it; on this board, other boards, and with your mom. She understands. Hang in there. Time will heal these wounds. Your fond memories of your grandmother are in your mind for a reason. Use them. TomM |

Title: Re: :( Depression sux Post by doodles on Feb 28th, 2006, 9:37pm Hope you are feeling a bit better tonite... for me I listen to the songs that make me cry when I am alone... that way I don't have anyone fussing over me. And I CRY hard, that way when I hear them with other people I only feel sad, not totally broken. The other day when I posted trying to get back to normal, someone (not sure who at the moment) told me to ask my advice to my dad... that he would hear me... in my dreams he came to me, gave some of the answers to the questions that were really bothering me. Have you tried that? Remember.. your grandmother would not want you to suffer... she loved you! This I am sure of (cause you turned out great so far!!) keep talking...We are all good listeners! xxoo Jan It was Rich that gave me such good advice.. it worked for me...try it! |

Title: Re: :( Depression sux Post by Sean_C on Feb 28th, 2006, 9:47pm Those are little drops of love guys. They can happen at any time or any place. Its that little thing we call love that keeps them in our hearts and minds. As Washington Irving has written, There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than 10,000 tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love. Sean................................. |
