Hello Clusterville! I realize I haven't been in touch with anyone for about 4 months now but I have finally crawled out of my "hole" and started to look for the sunlight again. I have been focused completely on the little one and making sure he is taken care of and honestly haven't taken any time for myself or anyone else. I just passed my 1 year mark of starting my last "cycle" and as a "celebration" the beast has decided to start making nightly visits. I spoke to my dr this past week and have decided to taper off all my prescriptions and go at this in a far different direction. Wish me luck. I hope that love and happiness is abounding here in Clusterville and all of you are doing well. I need some updates because I have honestly not been on the site for months. I look forward to reconnecting and am hoping to be welcomed back because I need to be able to focus my energy into something positive. I've missed you all!

The house is great! Finally getting curtains up and some decorating done... 5 months later! ::)

I had some crappy side effects with the neurontin. Just to name a few: "duh" look on my face 75% of the time sometimes accompanied by drooling, uncontrolled blonde moments and a 20 pound weight gain. VERY unattractive! :-/ I have decided to go back to just using oxygen and leave the drugs alone for now. My body needs a break.

How are you doing, Bmonee? Life treating you well?

Life is treating me pretty good. havent gotten hit since saturday night.....didnt even get my regular thursday shadowing all day.
Became chronic since you left. Still have cycles, but even when I am not in cycle, I still get 2 a week or so.
And, just came from Family Fun Night at my daughters school. How fun.

i am so sorry that it's the beast that brings you back. i don't think we know each other since i stayed in (my hole) for nearly 2 yrs. so its nice to meetcha. i'm glad i am not the only one that neurontin turned into a zombie..blonde moments are very unattractive on old men! but i'm sorry it didn't work for ya...

Awe Karen hon I am so sorry the beast is up to no good with you.I was so hoping that this beautiful time in your life with the would be painfree.Sometimes you have to step back and look at the meds and reevaluate.
I hope you and your doctor can find a great prevenative so you don't need a abortive.
Please don't appoligize for spending your time with your son.They grow up so fast.I think all we really ask is you pop in once in a while (more if ya want) post pics of the Little one (mandatory ;) )let us know the families alright and make a sarcastic remark about Goatie (he likes that ya know ;;D )

PS: I gained a total of 40 lbs while I was on Neurontin. :(

Well, everyone it's good to see some of the "old" faces 'round and the new ones as well. I look forward to rekindling some friendships and fostering new ones. I'm trying to check the boards at least every other day now and remember that I'm not alone in this crappy ol' fight with the beast. I'm really getting sick of this little butthead and would like nothing more than to reach in my head and take a good flick at the little b@st@rd right now! Running through the o2 at a pretty fast rate right but at the same time thanking God that I have it! Hope to catch up with some of you soon and get to know the others!
