Title: Re: i did not know this Post by Mr. Happy on Feb 25th, 2006, 12:45am And I thought Ctrl (+) and Ctrl (-) were the bee's knees. This gains another 3% on total lack of skeletal movement. Decadence is so cool. RJ |

Must have been a problem with the laptop, it works now, but for me keyboard id easier, especially with a touchpad. Give me <alt><tab> and <alt><cntl><arrowkeys> or give me death. Opus/Paul |

That's a statement I endorse wholeheartedly. I don't understand why people transform neat HTML pages into the weird PDF format. But there is good news: There's an alternative to the slow, bloated, clumsy, resources devouring Acrobat Reader from the last millennium: Get the Foxit Reader for free from http://www.foxitsoftware.com/. Title: Re: i did not know this Post by Lizzie2 on Feb 26th, 2006, 1:50am Can't do this on my PowerBook, but then there's a lot of old tricks I used to know how to do that just don't compute to this!! Like....I used to use the right click on the mouse in order to get info and also when trying to post pictures from my shutterfly site, I needed the right click to get the picture information to continue copying and pasting. What do you do if there's no right click? My mouse is just one click bar. No wheel either. I love my power book, but I need someone to teach me all the shortcuts! ;) Carrie :) |

This should help you. (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=75459) I have heard that if you plug in a regular scroll mouse that it will work just fine. I have no experience with that. I hate using this laptop becouse there are only two buttons, I use middle click a lot, and pushing both buttons at the same time just isn't the same. I would love to find a cheap keyboard with a built in 3 button track ball. Opus/Paul |

I have a mouse, a large trackball and a hand held trackball. Sometims I can't really use any of them and have to use the touch pad. I am going all command line when I can anyway so I guess I will live. on 02/27/06 at 06:47:48, Kirk wrote:
All I know is <ctrl> <x>, <ctrl> <s> to save and <ctrl> <x>, <ctrl> <c> to get quit. For some reason these don't work in vi. It is getting irritating that emacs_nox isn't installed by default on anything I have installed lately. Opus/Paul |
