7 balls, 2 100grams and 5 50grams.  It's 12 ply, sport weight, with a total of 1080 yards...

Total weight is just about 1 lb.

Cashmere is a lightweight yarn. For the weight, it sounds reasonable to me.

It's been quite awhile since I priced out cashmere yarn, but the last time I did, it was much much more. I would pay that for it now.
