Title: Poem by Felicia (BJ's 14 year old ) Post by Bec on Feb 8th, 2006, 10:11pm I sit in the dark. As it creeps ever closer. The pain's not bad...yet. But its growing stronger,stronger By the slowing second. Dripping posion. Rotting through my brain. Pushing down my tears, Pushing down my pain, I live through day to day. Trying to stay sain. The pain is greater now. Pounding like a hammer. Even the smallest sound, comes out as a scream. My head is wheeling,there's nothing for the pain. Screaming in my head. It wouldn't even help if I was dead. Finally its all over. Slowly it creeps away. I sit in the dark, Waiting for the pain. Waiting until it comes another day . I hate to know that a child can know and understand how all this feels PS sorry it took me so long to post this for you, as always it is a great poem.[center][/center] |
