Prayers needed for my wife Laura who is finally having knee surgury tommorow morning. It should go well.

Good luck with it all.....Brad had it years ago and it was a piece of cake.......not real invasive either and he was back to work in 4 days even tho he was supposed to take it easy for 6 weeks. No one else could set up the jobs so he was needed.......his knee felt better rite away and not THAT much pain cept for healing. He had about 4 or 6 small holes........course it depends on wether it is knee replacement or sumthin more complicated but most I know that had it didn't suffer alot afterwards at all. Actually about 4 friends had it done this past summer. She just won't be able to go shopping for a while .......shop while ya hobble Pam 8)

Things didn't go as planned, the spinal block didn't work so she needed general, and he knee had to be opened up. She is in a lot of pain with no spinal and she can't have narcotics, but hopefully the worse is over.

AWWWW Paul same thing happened to Dave and I believe Rox had to have her knee opened as well instead of orthoscopic...better days ahead... just be patient and remember all the love and support she gives you...lolol...

My prayers are with you and your family.

On the positive side, I know several folks who have endured the surgery and are so happy that their mobility is been restored. Walking again without severe knee pain has helped them return to a normal lifestyle.

The ones who got the best results are those that really worked through the re-hab. Help Laura through it because it can be painful - but it is well worth the effort.

Prayers for a speedy recovery!

I'm with Tom on this one.. definitely start the physical therapy as soon as possible. It does take work, and Laura will need lots of help with it. (but don't let her cheat like I did-totally counter productive!)
