Title: A poem by a 7 1/2 year old.
Post by Sean_C on Jan 30th, 2006, 10:12pm
Snowflakes glitter in the snow
Noses get red in the wind
Owls hoot in the trees
Wonderful nature is in
Mom and Dad sit by the fire
And keep thier toes warm
Now its time to go to bed, I hope there isn't a storm!!!

She wanted to "get it published" so I told her maybe one of you might be a scout looking for knew talent  ;)

Wow Meghan,  that's a very neat poem.

Your Dad said you wrote that all by yourself    ;;D

You're very talented, and as Minnie said, I hope to see your name in print in the coming years.

I think there's a place on the OUCH site for poems and stories written by children of CH parents.   I'll check and see and if I'm right, we'll see about getting it printed there.

Very nice work, Meghan.   I'll look forward to reading your next poem.

Lots of love to you from Texas!!

Jean

Great work Meghan!  Maybe when you get a little older you'll be able to get a job writing really nice greeting cards.

There's another kids magazine called Jack & Jill, I think.  They might also take submissions from children.

Keep up the good work, honey.  Bet your Mom and Dad are really proud of you.

Hugs
Carol
