Im blackdin from malaysia. please give me some advise on what to tell our doctors here in malaysia. If any of you can advise me on what should i ask for....i mean..any specific medication. You guys are so lucky to be in the united states where medical R&D is commond. here in malaysia is a little difficult ,even for our medical insurance. Thanks

Glad that you found us and sorry to hear that you are suffering.
I would take the information that you find here to whatever medical staff or help that you have there in Malayaysia. They may apprciate the fac that you have done the research. You can get the info on the left tab regarding diagnosis, medical info and treatments as well. You might even print out a copy of the letters that are available at the link below to get their attention:

Richard is correct- there is so much information here- print it out and take it to your doctors. I think for many here the treatment of choice is oxygen: inexpensive, no side effects and fast.

Glad to meet you but sorry it has to be because of this horror.

Lots of good advice given in the above posts. I will add that here too, doctors can be behind the curve when it comes to understanding us or the disease. I see a neurologist for my epilepsy (I haven't been seriously hit with CH for more than a decade) and he now and then asks ME what's new from OUCH so this is the place.

Scary thing but good luck and let us know how you make out.

Can you go to any neighboring countries at all for medical care? There's a headache center in Singapore with a headache specialist who runs it. Let me know if you want more info, and I can try to send you in the right direction.
