housecall@foxnews.com   :)  just sent.

Dear Dr. Rosenfeld,

Thank you so much for your report on clusters. As a cluster sufferer for 20 years, I appreciate that this horrible affliction is now gaining national attention and information is being provided to the general public.

I fully respect your medical expertise; however, I must point out that there are MANY women, and children of both sexes, who suffer with clusters. When physicians continue to see this as primarily a "man's illness", far too many women and girls are being misdiagnosed and suffer far too long without proper medical care.

Clusters are hell. I have been episodic for 20 years, yearly cycle starting in the fall and lasting for 3-4 months. Because this was a "man's disease", I was told I had sinusitis, tension headaches, needed glasses, stress, everything BUT clusters because doctors thought it was a "man's disease".

I have had migraines and have cluster headaches. Cluster pain is unlike any pain I have ever experienced in my life and truly far, far worse than migraines. Showing the woman on the street touching her head and saying it hurts so bad did a complete disservice to those who are cluster sufferers. If it was real, she would've been on her knees, banging her head on the concrete and begging for relief.

Please, please continue to report on cluster headaches so that the medical community at large will be better informed, the general public will become more understanding of the hell we face, and medical research groups will be forced to see that we NEED research and medicine specific to our pain.

A cause, a cure, our hope,
Respectfully,
Jennifer Donald

DAM IT.....I missed it and usally watch fox news ! Anyhow......I don't have 100 percent faith in docs anyhow cuz they all seem to have different ideas on this mess.......my doc keeps tellin me topomox is the cure for ch.........duh......no way could Brad function on that stuff and next cycle I'm sure he will push the med and WE will have to educate him. Brad works with big presses daily.....there's no way. And my mom's new neuro for sum issues she was haveing told her he treats alot of ch and does NOT prescribe 02. Guess he talked to my mom quite a bit about it since he knew so much and she was interested cuz Brad has it. Course that doc shit cann'd her when her ins would NOT pay for some more tests he order'd even tho he told her her condtion wasn't something requireing surgery and could be treated with meds. He refuses to treat her further without the tests which will not really prove anything more anyhow. Pay up or get out Pam
