Title: Already having Superbowl pains! Post by Kris_in_SJ on Jan 15th, 2006, 9:01pm Been a Steelers fan since the 1970's - the good old days with Bradshaw as QB. Go Steelers!! Been a Bears fan all my life - kind of like being a Cubs' fan since I'm an Illinois girl by birth and lived in the "big city" for a number of years. Rooting for the Bears is like rooting for the Cubs ... you always get your heart broken. So ... with the Colts out of the picture ... who's it going to be? Kris |

Title: Re: Already having Superbowl pains! Post by sandie99 on Jan 16th, 2006, 5:47am To be honest, I don't have a fave team in the NFL, but I do watch the Superbowl live every year. Naturally it means staying up, as back here it begins like 2am in the morning or something. ;) Sanna |

So you're saying Football ended in 1999. ;;D I don't care as long as it's NOT the Cowboys, Giants, Redskins, or Patriots. Care to take a stab at my favorite team with that statement ;) Jimmy |

Title: Re: Already having Superbowl pains! Post by Kevin_M on Jan 16th, 2006, 9:12pm We've settled who's going to be at the SuperBowl six years ago. The Lions will be there, in their skybox watching the game on Ford Field below, at Detroit this year. 1957 wasn't that long ago, we've been rebuilding. :'( ::) |

We left at the beginning of the third quarter. We got cought behind all the Philly faithful and it took 40 minutes to get out. Great bunch those Phillt fans. |

I hear ya...My bet's on Seattle, too. Quote:
Bub...you should know since your from Jersey...that Philadelphia fans eat, sleep & dream about Football...and to not win a championship since 1960...there's a lot of pent up frustations there. That being said I've also been to Giants Stadium to watch both the Jets & the Giants...the Jets fans were great...but the Giant fans were real winners too. Throwing stuff at me, my daughter, and a group of Philadelphia Fans. Football will be football. I guess it's better then going to a soccer game in some places. Now there's some vicious fans. :) |
