Title: Re: The big kill - deer Post by minnie on Jan 9th, 2006, 8:29pm I was lucky the first 2 years I hunted I got a deer.no bucks but 3 does one we tracked and tracked but lost the blood trail .Billy said he thought I must have nicked it but nothing fatal..The first year I was the first one in our hunting party to get one.Billy always put me in my spot and I know he put me in the best spot and took a lesser spot for himself. It's been about 3 or 4 years since I've hunted.I told him I'd go out and shoot the deer but no way was I touching it he said ok and stuck to the deal.He seemed to be good at getting people to field dress it.
