Title: I'm new with a question! Post by Brinkleigh on Sep 26th, 2005, 11:48pm Hi all- I have been reading through your site for the past few months, off and on, and finally I have a question. First, a bit about me ... I have been with my husband for 11 years and we have a 6 year old son. My husband is 33 and has had CH's for about 14 years. He is in the middle of a cycle right now, and it really seems to be the worst cycle yet. He usually goes on Prednisone when a cycle hits, but this time it doesn't seem to be working. He is also on Varapamil, but our drug of choice is Imitrex injections. I do worry about what it is going to do to him, but he just can't live without it, which I know that a lot of you understand. We have tried O2 and it did work for about 2 years, but like so many other drugs, his body seems to get ammune. Now for my question: Do you all know of any legit online pharmacy that we can buy Imitrex through? We have the prescriptions, but we are without insurance for approx 30 days (during a job change) and we have been paying $140.00 everytime we go to get it. Today we bought 3! Needless to say, it is breaking us! I have been searching the web, but I'm a little nervous about being taken. Please help, if anyone knows anything! Thank you so much - it is so great to read about people and medications that are so familiar to us. It feels good not to be alone! Sheri |

Title: Re: I'm new with a question! Post by Kevin_M on Sep 27th, 2005, 7:08am I don't use the injections but there is an Imitrex tip over on a left tab. <<<<< Giving oxygen another go again, making sure to use non-rebreather mask and 12-15Lpm flow would be worth a try also as well as maintaining a level of verap which could possibly help at this time. At mid-cycle I need 600mg. |
