It's 10pm, I'm getting settled in ready for bed----just got a zing! piercing stab thru the left side of my head. Here we go again. I'll try to head it off (no pun intended) with a pain pill and a sleeping pill, but......... Maybe it's an April Fool's Day joke? Do any of you ever have any success catching these things in time? :(

Not with any pill. Oxygen or Imitrex shots will help if you catch it in time. Sorry you're hurting. :(

Hi Marion,

I seem to recall you not being sure of the diagnosis?????

That will guide your treatment.........

You can try melatonin to help you get through the night......

otherwise I don't think you mentioned what meds if any you take!

Didn't touch my ch and usually hampered my next day with a rebound smacker and grrroooggggyyyynnneess. I would personally find something that works from the posts not to mention all those fine tabs over there on the left.

careful using pain-pills ..they tend to cause rebound h/as .. .o2 is a great abortive for many . .. but, e-double's post has me curious, have you been diagnosed with ch?
