Hello to all, I am nearing the end of my CH cycle, only 3 weeks this time, cut short, thank goodness to my awesome neurologist. I just wanted to post a message to say thanks to everyone out there that has posted any messages. They have kept me going, helped with questions, etc. It's been 6 years for me now, I am a 30 yr old female, and this is the first time I thought to go online and look for any helpful info. It was almost exactly 2 years ago since my last battle with this craziness. I think I thought it was all over; it seems I was wrong. Thanks for helping me to know that I am not alone, and thanks for all of the detailed info from all of you. I tried so many different things this time, ending with a round of prednisone, which seems to be doing the trick...but who knows, maybe the session was ending anyway. Now, I'm really happy to carry my ice pack with me everywhere, which I apply to the base of my head at the top of the neck, which has really helped me in this last week. (not sure if it could have helped before, I just reached for my immitrex injection, or in the beginning, my maxalt or zomig) My doc was very good to me. I wish all of you had a great doc, and I wish all of your pain away, Mary PS- I HATE Topamax!!

Welcome to the board Mary. Good to hear your cluster is winding down. Hope it never returns.

You spoke highly of your doctor. At the OUCH web site is a 'recommended doctors' list. Maybe you'd like to add your's?
