Title: New to board
Post by RDJ on Feb 11th, 2005, 2:25pm
Hi, new to the board here , visited the site many times, I have had clusters for 17 yrs. just started another cycle been a year since last attack.   Doing everything to get out of these things, eye doc, med doc, chiropractor.  Just got imetrex nasal last year other wise just pained them out in a dark room.  Has anyone did the water x3 deal, also any luck going to a chiroprator?  Yesterday I got Verapamil, any replys as to how that works?

Hi RD...welcome and sorry you're here. Water has helped many of us here. See the waterX3 link on the left. Verapamil is a common prevent that many of use and find helpful. Look on the meds board for info. Many use it along with another med. I use it with lithium. I haven't heard any positive stories about CH and chiropractors. Pain free wishes to you, nani

Welcome aboard! I am so sorry that you have ch... :(

But it's wonderful that you have found this site! You can find lots of info about meds in here.

I use verpamil, too, and it has made my chronic CH lot easier to bare.  :)

Good luck with your battle against CH! :)

Best wishes & PFdays,
Sandie

Welcome RDJ,

Chiros' are a waste of time and money to treat Clusters. Water helps sometime if it's not at the upper end of the KIP scale. Good luck with your cycle. Hope it's a short one this time around.
