Title: Hi all
Post by mdorr on Feb 1st, 2005, 3:37pm
Hi there,
Posted when the site first went online, but never to this MB and never to introduce myself.

32 years old now, started back when I was 24- have gone through all the mis-diagnosings, and all the different meds. Even tried Chinese herbs, and accupuncture. So far only O2 and Axert have worked. Unfortunately, it makes my cycle last twice as long.

After poking around I feel so lucky. I thought having 1-2 cycles for 2 months a year was bad, WOW, not sure I would be here to write if I have them all the time. Those who endure daily CHs are truly amazing

I am also going to try the schrooms now. Got the kit, now just need a cycle to start (this is the only time I will ever write that I hope they come to see if this works)

Anyway, just want to say hello, This site has done wonders for me. I have gotten a lot of information and support here. I even find myself surfing the boards during a mild CH just to try and focus on something besides the pain.

Keep strong!...and thanks!

Hello mdorr, nice to meet you and I'm glad you aren't in pain at the moment. When is your next cycle due? I'm glad you have something ready to combat it with. Let us know how you get on and stick around! Its always nice to meet others  :)

Thanks!
Not sure when they'll be back. Just ended the longest one I ever had (Oct 31 2004- Jan 20, 2005). I seem to get them like clockwork when we change the clocks...no pun intended.
(daylight savings times).

Pink from clusterbusters is a wealth of knowledge, and with all the info I have, I plan on kicking the crap out of the next cycle.

I'll keep y'all updated on the progress.

Its not a pun. I know what you mean. The hypothalmus is suposed to be the body clock so its not surprising that most people who are episodic get them spring and fall.
I'm glad you are getting alot of other help and advice.. thats brilliant!
