Title: new member Post by janice1 on Jan 24th, 2005, 9:10am Hi everyone, what a relief to find this site, just been diagnosed with having cluster headaches. Thought up to then that i was going mad! Had this condition years ago and then nothing for ages. Now im getting them on a regular basis, weekly sometimes daily and theyve finally come up with a name for it. I would love to talk to others in the same boat, really pleased to find this site Jan from England |

Title: Re: new member Post by LeLimey on Jan 24th, 2005, 10:22am Hi Janice!! [smiley=wave.gif] I'm in Nottingham, nice to meet you! There is a wealth of info here and also on the OUCH UK website which you might like to have a look at too, its well worth it as some of the meds suggested here have a different name in the UK. (Actually it was my doctor who found these sites - am I lucky or what?!) What meds do they have you on so far? Some doctors get a bit wary of the expense and yet again OUCK UK is well worth getting advice from on that point. There is stuff from an eminent British Neuro to take to your doc of you need it. My email is listed under my profile and if you want to chat at all send me a mail or an IM and I'll either give you my number or ring you back. Let me know if I can help at all! love Helen |
