5 Year remission, woow, cherish that time. I hope after this cycle you get another 5 years. (or more)

Anyway, since you have CH since '88 i think you know about it.

There are some real good links on the left of your screen. You can always learn something new here, i know i have.

Glad you found us, but sorry you have to be here.

I'm also episodic with 3-5 years between cycles.  Quite a shock when that episode starts after so long of being PF!

The treatment is still the same, and I've found great relief with Verapamil 480mg/day and Imitrex injections to abort.

Read, read, read!  And keep posting.  You'll learn more than you thought possible here.

Welcome to the family.

Kris

Welcome to the funny farm,

Sorry for your bad time and hope he leaves soon.

You didn't mention meds you had used in the past.

Have you tried 02?  A wonderful abortive if it works for you . . . as it does for many of us.  Has kept me from many a "dance".  Plenty of info here to read and copy and take to your doc.

Melatonin is OTC and seems to be helping reduce frequency and intensity of (especially) nightime hits.

 Water/water/water

I'm also a player . . . would like to meet you over a snooker table someday . . . or swap favorite trick shots.

Hang arround . . . a great bunch of folks here.

  Be safe - PFDANs

      Richard

The reason I didn't mention meds because I forgot, they are:

PREDNIZONE: Too many pills coudn't continue. No Benefits

METHYSERGIDE: Couldn't afford it. No benefits.

IMITREX: Cost.  No Benefits.

CAFERGOT: Cost. No Benefits.

SANSERT: Didn't even touch it.

I have been using T-3s and dealing with them for so long now I just survive, barely. I really wish I had extended medical or something.

Basically the issue is I have had too many cheap bosses that couldn't give a rats' behind wether you lived or not.

Moe (why me)
