Have never had any CAT scans or MRIs but after reading some of this great site I'm wondering is it somethijng I should look into. I finally have a appt with a specialist should I discuss this with him.

I guess he'll suggest it, only to rule out other possibilities

If he doesn't suggest them, it would be appropriate for you to ask him. You do want to rule out anything else. Pain free wishes and good luck to you. :)

HI Maureen and Welcome!

An MRI is usually recommended to rule out other possibilities, but if he doesn't I would ask him anyway. as Nani suggested.

Thanks everyone I think I will I'm sure they won't find anything I have had chs for 19 yrs but it's worth a try.
