Title: Morning headaches
Post by JoeS on Dec 22nd, 2004, 11:08am
Hi all, here's a quck question for fellow clusterheads:

Does anyone else experience morning headaches that are much worse/longer lasting than at any other time of day?

Normally, my headaches wake me up in the middle of the night and seem to last an hour or so.    However, occasionally I will get one at 6AM that lasts  3 or 4 hours!   This, of course, is the worst thing I've ever experienced.

Just curious if anyone else has similar experiences.

Joe

I don't have a specific pattern of having HA's  in the morning that are worse or longer.  However, my headaches that come on in the middle of the night, or just after I wake up are generally much worse than at other times.

Hope that helps.

Casey

I was getting a level 6 every morning at 6:30
that was gone by 8 most days....

but then again I got one every night at 10:30
at a level 6 that was gone by 11:30....

Some days there would be additional ones
at 11am, 2pm and 5pm... but they were
still level 7 or 8, and lasting about 40 minutes
(No clear pattern, some as long as 2 hours
 others short like 25 minutes...)

It sounds like the Beast is having fun with his version
he torments us all - is there really a better or
worse time to schedule pain?  I still would not
sign up for any....lol

Heck I skipped school to avoid homework...
wish I could skip this daily appointment with the monster
