I'm a 30 years old girl (yes, one of the 1:9 ratio or is it 1:4??) from Portugal, now living in Germany. Suffering from CH since I was probably 11 and now i'm 30 years old.
Back when I was 11 no one had heard about CH so kept saying it was a headache and giving me paracetamol and pain killers and i ended up "killing it" by staying quiet in a dark place and cry myself to sleep.
My CH attacks my right side, which coincidentaly i had 2 facial paralysis on that side back when i was 2. But maybe no relation. who knows.

The CH was diagnosed some 4/5 years ago after a "false brain tumor alert" and ever since i've been relying on Zomig. Started out as episodic once or twice a year and now i'm chronic with two to 4 episodes a month.

and here i am. It's routine for me but PISSES me off to actually have to stay put and not being able to do anything while i'm being eaten inside.

Sorry your in pain, but glad you're here.

Noticed you've already started asking questions... that's great. Don't be afraid to ask more. Read , read , read too. There is so much useful info and amazing support here.
