Title: Re: Wife of a fellow cluster head Post by IndianaJohn on Aug 26th, 2004, 5:49pm yup, me too. when I get hit, my wife knows to talk and walk very quietly. even when she's doing something like just rubbing my head, she does it very softly. Too bad my teenagers haven't figured that out yet. they made the mistake last week of bickering at each other right when I was getting hit. very bad idea for them... |

Title: Re: Wife of a fellow cluster head Post by toolong on Aug 26th, 2004, 7:54pm My wife has had Migraines along with me,although I don't think they are cluster. They don't come with the same frequency as mine and are usually treatable with Maxalt...anyway she does understand the pain we experience.I've had her rub my head and neck more times than I could ever count. The main thing is understanding.Sometimes I might ruin an evening out because of a cluster.Good luck to you,and may God make your husband pain free. |

Title: Re: Wife of a fellow cluster head Post by IndianaJohn on Aug 26th, 2004, 8:28pm I've ruined many a night out for my family...They know that I can't help it so they don't complain....at least not to me.. |

Title: Re: Wife of a fellow cluster head Post by Kris_in_SJ on Aug 26th, 2004, 9:06pm My own husband has a tendency to want to "hover" when I'm in the throes. It has taken awhile, but he now knows - when the beast is around - he can't be. He's a wonderful supporter. It sounds like you are too. Hugs, Kris |
