Title: Newbie saying thank you Post by Dave_Fustin on Feb 4th, 2004, 1:53am Hello to all, I have suffered these headaches for many years. Not to the extent of my lastest bout with them, This episode has been going on since Aug 2003 and I am sure hoping I am due for my break. ATM I am getting 3 to 8 a day so I am not getting much of a break and you can only take so much Imetrex so I have to pick and choose what headache to use it on. I have found all of you wonderful people here and it has most definatly saved my life. I was at the point of losing it because I had thought I was alone in this and I really honestly thought I was losing my mind and going crazy. I now have a ton of great information to share with my NEW DRs. I just want to say thank you to all of you for being here with such wonderful support and thanks for letting me know I am not alone. |

Title: Re: Newbie saying thank you Post by BlueMeanie on Feb 4th, 2004, 5:37pm Welcome Dave. It must be the Cluster Headaches that make us all so crazy. Not for sure, but it is pretty much a big coincidence though. Hang in there. Hope you get relief soon and the info helps with the docs so you can get what you need. |

Title: Re: Newbie saying thank you Post by Charlie on Feb 4th, 2004, 7:25pm Welcome Dave and among all brain-damaged twerps, you'll find lots of good ideas for dealing with this horror. ::) Here is a link to a technique that worked for me: http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/ This one is to help others understand that this has nothing to do with what is thought of as "headache:" "http://www.ouch-uk.org/ch/note_colleagues.cfm" Good luck and let us know how you're doing. I disagree... :) It's the lack of knowledge and understanding in the general public (and medical profession) that makes us crazy! Welcome aboard, but like many I wish we didn;t have to. But since you suffer too, at least we can all help each other through this. Good communications will lead to better science... :) |
