Maud and Edger recently married, attend the fair. There they see a young man offering helicopter rides for $5 dollars.

Edger wants to ride but Maud reminds him how much they need the money and when Edger tries to argue Maud silences him by flatly stating "we need the money and $5 bucks is $5 bucks"!

Every year for most of their lives they attend the same fair, see men offering helicopter rides but Maud always silences Edger with her too familiar "we need the money and $5 bucks is $5 bucks"!

Finally they attend the fair at age 90 and Edger says, Maud if I don't get my helicopter ride soon, I'll never get one. Only to be rebuffed by Maud's usual response.

The helicopter pilot having witnessed this scene for years and feeling bad for Edger offers to take Maud and Edger up for free but only if they can remain silent throughout the ride. Maud and Edger jump at the chance.

The pilot takes them up and really goes through some manuvers but can't get a peep out of either or his passengers. When they land the pilot says to Edger I'm impressed, I almost scared myself up there but you folks were perfectly quiet. That took tremendous nerve.

To which Edger replies, well I amost said something when Maude fell out but heck, $5 bucks is $5 Bucks

Oh man...do I wish that would happen to me.....no jail time ;;D
