A friend passed along an article to me regarding a heart condition called PFO and possible linkage to people who suffer from migraine or cluster headaches. Here's the link:

I searched the message board and wonder if anyone out there has talked to a dr. about this or has any additional information? I did a google search on PFO and there's a ton of information out there, but a lot of what i read seems to indicate the jury's still out as far as there being a clear link between this condition and cluster headache. It's also not clear whether the condition by itself increases risk for other issues such as stroke.. a lot of what i read tended to support the idea that persons with PFO are at increased risk, but then i found this article:

At any rate, just wondering if anyone has any additional information to share?

After Jeff had his heart attack he had to do his tread mill test. The guy running the ultra sound machine covertly told us that he had been doing some underground research into the link between heart blockages and cluster headache/headache. He appeared to be sneaking around about it for some reason.
That is all I know.

That technition was funny cause he acted like he was some sort of a heart spy or somethin'.

Some people...sheesh!
