Title: New member Post by Stu on Nov 22nd, 2005, 11:41am Hello all, i am new to the forum living in the UK. I have been suffering from CH for 8 years now having them every 2 years for between 4-6 weeks. I need your advice please on my current cycle. Normally i start in Jan/Feb but this bout has come early (start of Nov). Is this common?. Also the cycle seems to be different from before. Still get them in the night and morning but seem to miss a few when i would normally get them previously (earle evening). Is this me being paranoid ?????. or does this happen. your help would would gratefully appreciated Stu |

Title: Re: New member Post by Beastfodder on Nov 22nd, 2005, 12:42pm Stu, You've had the bad bit - that's the headaches. This site is the best bit of CH. I first came here last year, almost to this day when I got diagnosed as an autumn episodic. Don't know how you're coping with the attacks, or what you use as an abortive - but there's no shortage of advice laid out in here. Whilst I'm not dumb enough to laugh in the face of the beast, I've had only 4 headaches over the past 6 weeks. Last year's cluster attack count was over ten times that. Keep us posted on how you're getting on and very best of British |

Title: Re: New member Post by seasonalboomer on Nov 22nd, 2005, 2:37pm Hey Stu, Cluster Headache cycles do change. Once I think I get a hand around the "timing" of when I should get a cycle they change. I used to be two cycles a year with a March/April, then a October cycle. Over the past two years mine have completely changed months. No rhyme, no reason. Welcome to the site. Read on -- there's a lot of great info and lots of info on ways to fight back against the beast. Being prepared with weapons against the headaches can be a life altering feeling. Scott |

Title: Re: New member Post by Phil L on Nov 22nd, 2005, 4:14pm Hi Stu - Sorry you had to find us, but glad you did. The only thing consistent with CH is it's inconsistency. Never the same for any two people and Mr. Beast is always setting up an ambush. Phil |
