Title: SHADOWING??? Post by Shaz on Nov 22nd, 2005, 10:56am Hi Guys, have only been on here a few weeks and still learning all the logo. Have just finished a cycle so things are good, but can you explain what shadowing is? I have always found that in between CHs and at the beginning and the end of the cycle always have a week or so of what I have always called "niggling" where the pain is not actually there, but you know full well what could be round the corner. Does that make any sense? Shaz xxx |

Title: Re: SHADOWING??? Post by Bob_Johnson on Nov 22nd, 2005, 11:07am Like so much crossing the waters: Same meaning, different word! Individual usage ranges from residual irritation after an attack to early signs some something developing. Not exactly a technical term.... |

Ditto on what Ian said, K-4 and below for me are shadows.... my shadows are usually those that hang on and on and on... Goes to the whole pain tolerance thing |

Title: Re: SHADOWING??? Post by Barry_T_Coles on Dec 12th, 2005, 2:14am Shadowing had me baffled for a while, I thought I was shadowing long after the clusters finished. When I went to the Neuro in November and explained what I was feeling he diagnosed that I had Exploding head syndrome along with RLS but I still have this nagging feeling that a cluster could hit at any time, it’s just like a cloudy dull feeling on the cluster side, maybe I’m just paranoid. Regards Barry |

Title: Re: SHADOWING??? Post by chewy on Dec 12th, 2005, 7:54am Shadowing is a lot like driving down a steep hill at 120 MPH with no brakes. At the bottom is a fuel tanker. You know your going to hit it and there is nothing you can do to stop it. So you prepare for it. Put on the asbestos suit(preventatives) and get out the fire extinguisher (abortives). |
