Title: More Histamine Please - Updated Post by unsolved1 on Oct 14th, 2005, 1:27pm My time in pain free land is up. It's like someone flipped a switch ... I'm all of a sudden getting hammered :'( Several MAJOR hits today already. It's only going to get worse unless I do something about it. Soooo..... I'll be in the hospital for the next week for Histamine Desensitization therapy (again). It's worked wonders in the past. It should work again. See ya in pain free land in a week !! ;) UNsolved PS In case anyone was wondering, this last time with Histamine lasted me 6 weeks :-/ :) :) |

Title: Re: More Histamine Please - Updated Post by MJ on Oct 22nd, 2005, 1:44pm Unsolved thats great. What is histamine therapy? Anything like anti-histamine? Why is hopitalization required? Pretty cool to find a quality treatment but 8 days, are attacks still there while being treated. Is it a gradual reduction in hits or what. MJ |

Title: Re: More Histamine Please - Updated Post by kimmeesue on Oct 25th, 2005, 3:12pm WooHoo! Congrats on your PF time. Does your insurance cover this treatment? Everywhere I have looked it is considered experimental. Also, does the histimine induce headaches while you are undergoing the treatment? Also is this a proprietary protocol? Any info would be helpful. Thanks, Kim |

Title: Re: More Histamine Please - Updated Post by unsolved1 on Oct 25th, 2005, 3:46pm Yes, my insurance covers it and no, it's not considered experimental. Histamine can induce a headache if given enough. I do have clusters while doing Histamine until about the 5th day. PF Wishes UNsolved |
