Title: Facing North Post by stevema on Sep 25th, 2005, 9:20am Recently noted that I find myself facing north during the dance or teapot bend. Anyone else? I mean, there are things I do that seem like someone is directing me (puppet like) cause I don't know why I am dancing or walking a certain way. And I am always looking for a spot that doesn't give the imminent death feeling, and more often than not, that is facing north (though it doesn't seem to help *too much* anyway). Could this be related to the whole cicadian rhythm thing, or how come many attacks come around soltices / equinoxes? Is it the spinning, rolling of the Earth? Anyone have anything similar? |

I find the most comfort in this rythm. Hold your hands high with your head facing up (mms://66.186.0.101/allaccess/diststri.wma) Works for me ;) Sean.............................................. |

Title: Re: Facing North Post by nani on Sep 25th, 2005, 11:06am Spring and Fall cycles are quite common. Personally, I'm not sure it isn't more about the weather, than the equinox. pain free wishes, nani |

It is like your appendix, an evolutionary left-over .... the signal to begin migrating. But like a typical clusterhead, you get it all wrong. Now is the time to Head South (unless you are down under). ;) Seriously, though, changes in daylight and heat can start a cycle in an episodic. It is a disease with a circadian component for many episodics. Not sure about the north thing, though. |

Title: Re: Facing North Post by tommyD on Sep 26th, 2005, 5:03am Hi stevema Perhaps you face north simply because that means you are not looking toward the sun. I know I don't like looking at bright light during a cluster. -tommyD |

Title: Re: Facing North Post by BobG on Sep 26th, 2005, 6:06am I always pace north and south. Not because of the position of the magnetic fields, the stars, moon or sun but because my patio is longer that direction then east to west to east. |
