Title: Anyone finding more activity this week?? Post by E-Double on Aug 31st, 2005, 11:08am I really do wonder if the effects of that damn hurricane have added to the floggings. I missed my morning client. Wound up fighting for nearly 3 hrs. I haven't had a battle like that since I went back to back to back to.....in April. Holy CHit >:( |

Title: Re: Anyone finding more activity this week?? Post by pubgirl on Aug 31st, 2005, 5:14pm Eric No hurricanes here but I for one and others have hit nasty Autumn cycles far earlier than usual. I am getting a pasting here too headwise but multiple smaller not great huge ones like yours. Hang in there Eric, I'm armed to the teeth and ready for battle, hope you are too Wendy |

Title: Re: Anyone finding more activity this week?? Post by Salvelinus on Aug 31st, 2005, 6:40pm Hey, Eric. Sorry to hear of your battle. :( Storms usually nail me pretty hard, too. I can usually predict rain fairly accurately. Katrina went right over head, though it was just a nice, heavy rain that was sorely needed here. Usually my hits are pretty bad in that kind of weather, but thanks to the new meds, all I did this time was shadow. I was able to subdue things with a nice, strong cup of coffee and some Dr Pepper. Praying for you and all those affected, more or less, by this storm . . . :) Namaste, --Scott |

Title: y!Re: Anyone finding more activity this week?? Post by Lizzie2 on Aug 31st, 2005, 8:50pm Eric - I think you know my answer to that question! I never freak out and I was just panicked as all hell yesterday - must've been hit 10 times in all which is an unusual amount for me! I know my migraine is very sensitive to any barometric pressure changes - I suppose my CH may be as well! It never really cut me a break - ate cereal for breakfast at about 5:15 this morning - later couldn't stop throwing up before I got out the door for work - I'm sure that was from how bad things were the night before and continuing into the morning. Been having a lot more nausea and vomiting with the chronic migraine than usual too - I hardly ever get wiped out by throwing up unless it's from a med side effect - but this is not the case lately! I know the heat and humidity are playing a HUGE factor for me in being able to knock the beast out more quickly and to be calm. Thank goodness I buy ice packs whenever I see them on sale - so I've got about 6 or so that I can just keep rotating out of the freezer! Now if only I had a window a/c unit in the bedroom as well as the living room! Vibes to you, ghost, and everyone else fighting the beast big time! Hugz, Carrie :) |

I haven't noticed anything as far as headaches go, but I do have that general "blahh" feeling from the big low gowing over (and wet feet from the 5" of rain ;) ) Hang in there brother, it'll get better soon :) |

Title: Re: Anyone finding more activity this week?? Post by OUCH_again... on Sep 1st, 2005, 12:12am Hey there, Having a stormy time of it over here in Australia too. Last night was my worst in a long long time [smiley=bigcry.gif] And as much as you'd never never wish these heads on anyone... it was kinda comforting to know that I was not alone. New to this site, but been suffering 15+ years. Thanks to you all for sharing your thoughts - it really does help so much. Kate |

I hope you're PF really soon... (((((((((vibes))))))))) I think you're on to something, though. I've been PF since late April but since Katarina came I've been hit twice: kip 9 and 7. Title: Re: Anyone finding more activity this week?? Post by yikes-another-one on Sep 4th, 2005, 10:16am ;) I swear the beast listens in on these conversations. Last year, any clouds in a 30 mile area could send me howling and barking at the moon. This year, i got my worst attacks on the sunny days. i ain't giving in. Still fighting....4-6 a day..... with the mini ramp ups surprising my arse every 3 months or so.... Ruined my Memorial day.... but I survive Take care everyone. i'll miss ya lots. and hopefully the fall will be kind to us, and let us get some rest. TJ |
