Title: Week 5 and the "Recipe"
Post by headbanger45 on Aug 15th, 2005, 1:01pm
Some dude named Johnny sent me an IM about a Dr. Herzog in Dallas - I got an appt. I'm going to give him a shot next week. Anyway, Thanks Johnnie or Johnny...

Week 5 of this cycle and I will say that my new recipe is working good enough to give me some quality of life. I took to kids to Six Flags last week and rode everything our there at least twice. I felt like I was in a bad car wreck. Neck and back hurt from all the banging back and forth.  Stayed all day. Took my Indocine with meals, but never had to go to the Trex. Got hit that night (7-8) when all the fun stopped. Ouch !! I guess the key is, don't stop having fun - hell sleep on a roller coaster... Hell we'll open a CH Park - Stays open all F___ing Night !

Anyway, My question was on Zyprexa - Can it be mixed with other abortives like Trex or Relpax?

Oh, also for the newbies, don't let the CH ignorant Dr.s bum up out and if you ask for Trax, don't let them push the nasal Trex on you - shit don't work, tastes bad, and it made my CH worse. Had real bad shadows with it. Trex inject works when air sucking don't. Also, I don't do O2, makes me feel like a dying cancer patient or something. Makes me depressed to deal with the bottles and crap - I'll tke my chances. Also, I like meds I can take on the run. I have left home without the American Express, but not my CH meds. They go where I go or I don't go.

Thanks to anyone with info on Zyprexa.. PF to all !!!

Your loss. I prefer to try to think of myself as pro football player, playing in Denver and on the sideline out of breath, sucking on a little O2 before I get put back in to play. It's all in how you want to think about it. Someone else has made a fun mask on the O2 mask so they don't scare the kiddies. Open your mind and free yourself further. It's worth it.

O2 is a gift from the gods!  If somebody don't like it, I'll lay one of them E tanks up side their head.

Hey Banger,

I have recently been using Zyprexa as an abortive and have found it to work (for me) as fast as Imitrex and without the "hangover"

Sometimes I will use it when a triptan does not work and sometimes I will use it alone.

Last night I took it before bed and used it as a preventative and made it through the night.

It has been very good to me ;)

With the O2, you will be able to put a CH in the dirt rather quickly. It beats putting your head into the dirt. You'll be amazed.

In cycle, I'll have a tank in my truck, office, and a few at home. I carry the high flow regulator and mask in a backpack that goes everywhere I go. If I get hit at work....I simply close the door or go to the bathroom.
If I get hit any other place, I just rush to my truck, lay down in the seat and huff away....nobody can ever see (of course tinted windows help)

My Cluster Guy ditched the mask and sucks on the open hose.  (ya get better flow that way) Then he can sit in the car and it isn't so apparent:)

While O2 does work for many of us, it doesn't work for everyone.  It works for me 75% of the time on daytime hits-100%nighttime hits.  As to carrying it in the car-my husband is concerned that if I'm in an accident it will explode.  Any validity to this?
